Syringes, Plunger, Luer Slip

Definition : Plunger syringes with a male tapering fitting (tip) that are designed to connect the syringe with other medical devices, such as a needle using only compression to secure the connection. The tapered Luer tip (i.e., Luer slip) allows the two mating tapered fittings to slip-fit into each other in a liquid-leakproof and mechanically secure manner that still permits the parts to be readily separated.
